The BIM&CO technology is based on a central database linked to standards and which can be connected to yours, to your dictionary. The mapping aims to connect two identical parameters but with different names (because they come from different standards or projects).
BIM&Co Equivalencies are the correspondance table between the properties of your dictionary and those of the BIM&Co dictionary.
It allows you to add objects from the bimandco.com public platform to your library and to retrieve the properties of these objects in the language of your corporate dictionary.
This is what this screen shows you on the "Mapped" tab. On the left are listed your properties and on the right of the screen the BIM&Co properties on which they are connected.
The "Unmapped" tab gives access to all your properties not yet connected to the BIM&Co dictionary. To map a property, nothing could be simpler, click on the "Map" button next to the property name...
A dialog is then displayed, it allows you to select among the not yet connected and compatible BIM&Co properties the one you want to associate. One click is enough to perform this operation.
<aside> ⚠️ It is only possible to map one property on a BIM&Co property.

This link allows you to retrieve manufacturer content on Bimandco.com defined according to the properties of your corporate dictionary.
<aside> 👉 For example, if a manufacturer has used the Overall Length property in his object, you will view it with the property that you have connected to this length property, for example Usable Length.
