To manually create a property in the dictionary, simply click on the Actions button and choose Create property.

The creation dialog is displayed, and you must fill in the fields described on this page.

General tab

1. Name in the default language (Required)
2. Description
3. Data type (Required , data type ensures interoperability, numeric, text, Boolean...)
4. Input type (Required , how this property should be entered, free input, multiple choice...)
5. Domain (required , choose from predefined list)
6. Unit (The choice of unit is only active for numeric data types)
7. Code (optional information)
8. Version (the accepted version format is X.X where X is a digit)
9. Translations into languages other than the default language of your space

Revit tab

1. Parameter type: cannot be modified as the system is currently limited to shared parameters.
2. Parameter type: (Type or Instance, by default type)
3. Data type (depends on the selection made in the General tab, it is however possible to adapt the datatype more precisely for Revit among the quantity kind)
4. Discipline: cannot be modified, depends on selected Revit datatype
