Select the type of BIM object you want to create. There are 2 types of objects: Generic or Manufacturer. Select the one that corresponds to the object you are creating or modifying.
If you choose Manufacturer, you will have to fill the name of the manufacturer. This way, the item can be found via searches on specific manufacturers.
After clicking on Manufacturer, fill in the field with the name of the manufacturer. When you enter the name, a list of matching manufacturers will be displayed. Click on the manufacturer's name to confirm.
If the manufacturer does not exist in the list, you can create a new one by clicking on "New manufacturer".
<aside> ⚠️ At any time you can switch between the two object types by clicking on the corresponding buttons. A confirmation message is displayed each time because this decision has an impact on the mandatory properties which can be different between the Manufacturer and Generic objects.
