Revit definitions are also displayed in table form. It is possible to search for a property or the associated parameter, as well as to filter the table via the filters accessible in the column headers. You can also reorganize the list of properties using the grouping function in the column header.

The Options menu lets you edit a property's Revit definition directly.

Revit property definition

The attributes described below concern the Revit definition of a property. This information is used directly by Revit when downloading an object or creating a project. This information is displayed in the Revit tab.

Parameter type

For the moment, the platform only manages parameters shared with Revit, so this field cannot be modified.

Nature of parameter

This attribute stores the nature of the parameter in Revit. Namely, type (if you change the value of a type parameter, all other components of the same type will be modified) or occurrence (if you change its value, this will not be reflected in other components of the same type). By default, when a property is created, TYPE is selected, but you can of course modify it.

Data type

The data type is the Revit datatype. The drop-down menu that appears offers only a list of datatypes compatible with the data type and unit selection made in ISO. This is the attribute found in the shared parameters file. (Example: Length, Electrical Power...).

Discipline

The discipline is automatically assigned according to the type of Revit data used.

Display group in Revit

This attribute is used to select the display group in which the parameter will be stored.

Shared parameter file information

This is the information stored in the shared parameters file, which is downloaded by the Revit plugin when connecting to a space.
