Import files to create objects

The Import Files button in the content manager allows you to import a wide range of file formats directly from your desktop, either by dragging and dropping them or by selecting the files or folder manually.

Each file uploaded creates a new object in Onfly.

In the case of Revit RFA files, the file will be analysed to extract:

• file types
• all parameters (built-in, shared, family) and their values
• a thumbnail
• a 3D preview

For other file types, an object will be created, but no content analysis will be performed.

A tooltip allows you to view the different compatible file formats.

A toggle activates the object marking function. Objects created in this way are then tagged with the name of each folder in the folder structure.
