The BIM&CO technology is based on a central database linked to standards and which can be connected to yours, to your Onfly dictionary. The mapping of a parameter aims to connect two identical parameters but with different names (because they come from different standards or projects).
The mapping tables between your Onfly dictionary and your different project standards (e.g. Revit shared settings) are called Naming Conventions.
These naming conventions allow you to upload and share objects between your projects and your Onfly company library by translating the equivalent parameters from one environment to another. Please also read the naming convention settings on Onfly.
In the plugin's preferences, the choice of download configuration will determine the criteria according to which the Onfly properties and Revit parameters will be matched in the Revit file.
After choosing a naming convention or a dictionary, it is downloaded to your computer.
<aside> ⚠️ The check box allows you to connect this naming convention as a shared parameters file in Revit so that unique identifiers are always matched.
