A simple search is performed using the search field.

This field allows you to enter one or more words that will be used for the search.

There's no need to separate words with any character. Onfly's search engine adapts to your input by combining full and split searches.

In the object search, the following fields are used:

• Object name
• Variant name (type)
• Description

In the file search and in the plugin, the following field is also used

• Family name

Display by relevance

A scoring system then ranks results by relevance. The order assigned to objects depends on the presence of the search words in the following fields, with the most important fields at the top:

• Object name (in the selected data language)
• Variant name
• Manufacturer name
• Object name (in default language)
• Description (in selected data language)
• Description (in default language)

The score for each object is the sum of all points.

The display by relevance shows the objects with the most points at the top, and those with the fewest points at the bottom.
