This Changelog page lists all changes made to the Onfly platform: new features, improvements, bug fixes, and plugin updates (Revit, Civil 3D, etc.).

The goal is to give you real-time visibility into product updates as they happen.

All:

• New installer is now available in two mode:
  • Per user: The previous mode, which allow user to do the installation without administrator rights. The standalone app and plugins will be installed in the user personal directory.
  • Per machine: The new mode. The standalone app and plugins are installed in shared location between all users. This allow IT to mass deploy the plugins from an administrator account or an automated system which can't use a user context to do the installation.

Revit:

• New If the search is already open but not in focus, clicking on 'Search' will bring it to the forefront in Revit.

  

• New After downloading (via drag & drop or by clicking the download icon), the search window remains open, preserving all your filters and search results, so you won’t need to spend extra time redoing the search or filtering.

• New If the file has already been downloaded to your project and you use the Onfly search you will not download it again.

• New Thanks to the implementation of a local cache, the use of the plugin is accelerated. Content you have already downloaded once will be loaded into any project much faster.

🛠️ Fixes:

• Fixed a bug that prevent the plugin to refresh after switching space from the same organization.
• Fixed a bug that prevent the plugin upload new family from the Family Editor if there is not type.

• Fixed an issue during Download or Get Changes where an exception occurred if the family had no selected type.
• Fixed a regression was introduced in the feature that ensures downloads continue, preserving at least the file content stored in our storage space. This caused an exception that interrupted the download.
