The object view in Onfly

An ONFLY object is a 'container' for information, data, documents and geometries. By separating geometry from data, Onfly technology allows you to create complex digital objects.

An ONFLY object can contain one or more files in different formats. However, an ONFLY object can be empty of files and contain only properties and information.

You can modify, enrich or delete the properties of your objects and, by extension, your files. *** Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) ***

Creating an ONFLY object

There are two methods for creating objects:

With this method, you upload a file and ONFLY takes care of creating the object and filling in some basic data.

For more on this method ⇒Upload to library

This method allows you to populate the library without using CAD/CAM software. You create an empty object on the platform and then you can add files as you wish.

For more information on this method ⇒ Mass import of objects online

These two methods of creating objects correspond to ONFLY features available to administrators, validators, and creators.
